Catch Log March 2019

I have not been able to get out this month like I would have liked, but the few times I have, I had pretty tough days. The few times I did have good days were at Lake Sutton. With drastically warmer water temps than in surrounding waters, Lake Sutton always has a better bite, for me anyways, than anywhere else. We have not caught the size bass that we have this time the last few years, but the numbers of fish are still good.

I also fished a bass tournament on Lake Gaston this month. It was the first time I have fished this lake so I have nothing to compare it to, but for both mine and my partners first time on the lake we did alright. The bite was slow and the water was muddy, but the bites we did get came off of spinnerbaits.

I haven’t gone out into saltwater this month but I am hoping to change that for April if I can find time in between a very busy few weeks of tournaments. I look forward to bringing you more catch Log info in the months to follow.
